Surfing Holidays

Experienced surfers know the excitement and thrill of catching the perfect wave. But the secret about surfing is - anyone can have a go.

Surf schools in Eurobodalla offer individual coaching for beginners to advanced and there’s no need to worry about bringing your own equipment, surfboards and wetsuits are provided.

And if you’re already up on the board, you’ll be interested to know we persuaded a few locals to share their favourite surf beaches - they suggest you try Broulee, nearby Pink Rocks (not for beginners), North Head Moruya and McKenzie’s Beach near Malua Bay.

For other surf beaches, pick up a copy of “Beaches of Batemans Bay and Eurobodalla”, by Hyams Publishing. This excellent reference is available in the Eurobodalla Visitor Centres, bookshops and newsagents for $29.95 or phone 1800 802 528 or email info@eurobodalla.com.au to order your copy. The book is a practical and informative guide to the region’s beaches with plenty of interesting history, facts and beautiful photography to inspire you to discover your favourite beaches and breaks.
