The beauty of our land inspired the original inhabitants to begin a tradition of art and story telling which has continued ever since. The natural beauty and brilliant colours we’re surrounded with continue to attract so many talented artists, craftsmen and photographers to the region, and inspire them to create. Our villages and towns have many fine galleries and studios that invite you to view and buy paintings, sculptures, woodworks, textiles, ceramics and pottery, and in particular, the Indigenous art of the region.
